Synopsis

Brennan and Booth are tasked with investigating the death of a man, a murder committed for the contents of the secrets held within his briefcase. They suspect the involvement of clandestine operatives, a theory confirmed when they discover the liquefied remains of a CIA agent concealed in the trunk of a car. Simultaneously, Brennan’s latest novel, a resounding success, creates an undercurrent of tension between her and Booth, while Wendell faces the disappointment of losing his scholarship.
