Synopsis

The body lay in pieces, arranged within a disturbing pool of violet water. The head was absent. Examination revealed the victim to be Jared Addison, a science fiction writer known for his struggles with mental illness. With Sweets’ assistance, the team pursued several leads, yet the lack of the head hampered their efforts to gather sufficient evidence.
