Synopsis

The team reopens the case of a long-dormant serial killer, determined to unmask "The Puppeteer," a perpetrator known for inhabiting the bodies of his victims before discarding them. Simultaneously, Brennan grapples with the lingering guilt of her retirement, haunted by the feeling she failed to prevent the killer's earlier crimes. Unbeknownst to her, however, she may be drawing the attention of a new threat.
