Synopsis

Angela’s vacation took a dark turn when her boyfriend vanished. The discovery of a skull prompted her to seek Brennan’s expertise in identification, a chilling possibility hanging over her – that it might belong to him, or perhaps to the female guide who had disappeared with him. The ensuing investigation pulled the team into a world of violence, involving a volatile boyfriend, the local sheriff, and ultimately, a sophisticated counterfeiting operation hidden in the desert landscape.
