Synopsis

Hoss remained the only man willing to resist convicting Johnny Mule, a simple-minded ranch hand accused of robbery and murder against his employer. When Johnny Mule—terrified of being lynched irrespective of the jury’s decision—escaped from jail during their deliberations, the blame inevitably fell upon Hoss.
