Synopsis

Hoss took on a formidable task when he resolved to restore the reputation of a celebrated poet, Will Smith – whose true name was William Warlock Evans – a man consumed by drink. The situation grew more complicated still with the eventual arrival of Mr. Evans’s wife at the Ponderosa.
