Synopsis

The Pony Express established its headquarters in Virginia City, and Joe was among the very first to enlist. Ben, too, chose to put his faith – and resources – into this new venture. Yet, difficulties swiftly arose as the Paiute people and a persistent newspaper reporter both sought to advance their own separate aims, creating complications for the fledgling service.
