Synopsis

Adam endeavors to see the merit in Howard Mead, a gifted musician who consistently skirts the boundaries of legality. This marks the dramatic introduction of singer-songwriter Hoyt Axton. The preceding installment was the last one on which Pernell Roberts worked; however, he appears in the subsequent two episodes, filmed before this one but broadcast later.
