Synopsis

Joe and Adam defend a young woman named Lila—who acted in self-defense—from a vengeful crowd poised to lynch her. The traveling judge and his wife, meanwhile, find themselves drawn to Lila’s presence, and as events unfold, both she and the judge uncover unexpected truths about their own lives.
