Synopsis

Believing wrongly that their father had been killed, Adam, Hoss, and Joe scattered in three separate directions to face those they presumed responsible. Though Ben knew his sons would generally adhere to the bounds of the law, a flicker of doubt remained regarding Joe’s conduct.
