Synopsis

Abandoned in the desert after two thieves made off with five thousand dollars and his horse, Adam faced death. He collapsed near an old prospector named Kane, who offered him a mule and supplies – in return for three days’ labor at the mine. But Kane proved to be a disturbed and unstable man. He held Adam captive, subjecting him to torment as part of a twisted experiment: to demonstrate that anyone, even a seemingly reasonable person like Adam, could be driven to violence.
