Synopsis

The episode concluded with what proved to be the series’ final scene. While making a delivery for Ben, Little Joe encountered Bill Tanner, a deranged killer masquerading as one of the soldiers he had previously slain. With his wagon stolen and stripped bare of supplies—food and water included—Joe, now referred to by Tanner as his "prey," desperately attempted to elude the well-equipped madman, who seemed to derive sadistic satisfaction from playing the role of a predator.
