Synopsis

Jamie brought home an Irish setter pup, and between them blossomed a remarkable companionship. He discovered the puppy had been left at the Ponderosa, and journeyed there only to find that its previous owner intended to end its life – the dog being a runt, deemed by the breeder as an unsatisfactory specimen of the breed. Now, swiftly, the young setter faced a trial, a desperate test for his very survival.
