Synopsis

On a cattle drive through the Nevada desert, Joe was struck by a bullet and left wounded. Two ranchers discovered him, feverish and rambling with thirst, and carried him back to their home for recovery. As they sent for a doctor, Joe fought desperately against the fading light, his words slurring into incoherence, his sleep haunted by unsettling dreams of a teepee and a spinning wagon wheel. Ben and Hoss strained to understand his disjointed utterances, hoping to reconstruct the events that had
