Synopsis

With the Cartwrights absent in Carson City, the formidable land baron Bradley Meredith – portrayed with striking duality by Lorene Greene – enacts a cunning plot to seize control of the Ponderosa. He assumes the guise of Ben, fabricating a serious illness as a means of selling his holdings to unsuspecting associates.
