Synopsis

A spirited ten-year-old girl named Samantha, whose mother is a cousin of Ben’s and also kin to Hoss and Little Joe, arrived at the Ponderosa. Though she was certainly a challenge to manage, Ben found himself truly tested when her grandfather appeared, requesting custody of the child. He had been occupied tracking down Samantha's mother, but now faced an entirely new complication.
