Synopsis

Embittered by a lifetime of service denied its due—a promised pension never received—a retired Army sergeant abducted an old acquaintance, Candy. He then compelled Candy to join him in a reckless scheme: to destroy the U.S. Mint in Carson City and hold the precious gold and silver within as leverage for a substantial ransom.
