Synopsis

With the shadow of civil war looming, Adam and Joe found themselves at odds, disagreeing sharply about which cause to champion. The tension deepened with the arrival of Frederick Kyle, a man openly sympathetic to the South. He was known to have been a friend of Joe's mother, and it also emerged that Joe’s given name was actually Joseph Francis.
