Synopsis

The capital city trembled after the twin terrorist attacks, and specialist protection officer David Budd found himself under an unprecedented strain safeguarding Home Secretary Julia Montague. The danger to her life did little to diminish Julia's political drive; her counterterrorism bill edged closer to enactment, igniting fierce political opposition.
