The conclusion was just ridiculous and ruined everything that came before; plot inconsistencies appeared everywhere. Considering the timeline, it’s hard to believe anyone from the nineteen forties would still be alive, not only the main character but others as well—especially in a place like London. It feels irresponsible to create science fiction centered around time travel without understanding concepts like the butterfly effect. The question of cause and effect is frustratingly ignored here. And Netflix continues with the LGBTQ+ representation; it's almost mandatory for a series to have a same-sex kiss before it gets approved, which isn’t inherently bad, but I'm growing weary of having agendas and propaganda pushed on me when I just want to be entertained. These British television shows always resort to the same predictable, overly sentimental endings—it's become tiresome.
