Synopsis

On a day when a mandatory mile-long run awaited them at school – a run made bearable only by the promise of free ice cream – the children devised a carefully constructed plan for escape. Separately, Bob and Linda wrestled with the task of finding discounted tickets to a performance at the Wharf Arts Center, their efforts laced with a palpable urgency.
