Bluey and Bingo each held their ice cream, a shared desire for a taste of the other’s treat animating their small faces. They were intensely concerned with ensuring each lick was perfectly equal, a meticulousness that drew their attention entirely to the task at hand. Consequently, they remained oblivious to the way their frozen desserts softened and dripped down their hands.
