Synopsis

The paramilitary group known as the "Posse Magistratus" has long been suspected in a string of bank robberies, most notably one involving a heavily modified World War II fighter plane. To locate this aircraft and disrupt their operations, Chaney and Wonderlove pursue it based on reports from aerial police. During their search, Chaney observes gun mounts on a plane they had previously thermographed, but the findings do not constitute sufficient evidence to implicate the Sheriff, who legally owns
