Several pairings attend counseling with the goal of repairing their connections. Rather than feeling critical of what they’ve done, I found myself anticipating how their personalities would develop throughout the series. Setting aside specifics about the therapist and the people involved, I want to discuss this as a television program. The show's aesthetic choices and visual presentation felt very refined and upscale. It seemed to suggest that no matter appearances, difficulties can always be present. I really disliked the predictable cliffhanger device—the hints of significant events coming up were ultimately resolved in the subsequent episode with something almost insignificant. If you’re hoping for intense reality television, detailed therapy sessions, or sensational drama, this show won't provide it. It was acceptable to watch once. What I did find worthwhile was observing how these people have different perspectives on what "love" means within their relationships. Still, I appreciated that most of the couples managed to overcome their challenges.
