I didn't anticipate enjoying this police series as much as I did, given the quality of the script and the actors’ work. A palpable sense of suspense permeated numerous scenes; I frequently braced myself for disaster in each scenario. However, since officers don’t constantly face fatal outcomes in reality, it seemed appropriate that most situations avoided constant bloodshed and a large number of deaths. Each officer within the group of characters felt fully developed and complex, and I found myself invested in their individual stories to differing degrees. The series included several unexpected developments, but they didn't feel contrived or like easy solutions to plot problems. Ultimately, I’ll be eager to see what happens next if there is another season.
