The initial run of Bloodline held a great deal of potential and started off exceptionally well; I really enjoyed that first season. If I were advising someone on how to experience this show, my suggestion would be to simply watch the premiere season and skip ahead to nothing else. It felt like the story should have concluded after those initial episodes, which would have left a more positive lasting impression. The subsequent seasons unfortunately fell apart, featuring significant gaps in the storyline and introducing characters who seemed unnecessary to the narrative. Originally planned as a seven-season commitment, production costs associated with filming in the Keys became prohibitive. Consequently, there was an attempt to quickly wrap things up into three shorter seasons, which felt somewhat hurried. A strong beginning; it would have been better if they had stopped there.
