This series didn't quite click with me, but I wouldn’t advise anyone against checking it out. I was impressed by the main actor — is he the same one who played a pig farmer in Ned Devine? — and some of the other performers seemed decent too. The story just didn't hold my attention though. It felt like something I’d seen before, but that’s not surprising really; there are only so many stories about police detectives tackling old cases connected to their past that become risky. It’s possible that it simply suffered from the large number of shows and movies I have waiting for me. Maybe if my viewing list shrinks or if the series receives widespread critical acclaim, I'll give it another look later on.
