"Bloodhounds" joins the many intense Korean action shows out there right now. There are definitely things to appreciate—the action moves quickly, and the characters have real substance, with backgrounds that feel authentic. However, I think the series pushes its boundaries too far. The violence occasionally becomes extreme, creating a heavy atmosphere that eventually wears you down. It also seems like a stretch to believe a woman could confront such brutal men, which feels forced and unrealistic. Basically, it's an acceptable show featuring good action sequences and well-developed characters, but the level of brutality is too high, along with some questionable diversity elements. It’s alright to watch.
