Synopsis

Richard Engel chronicles the Battle of Wanat, a conflict that yielded among the highest casualty figures of the Afghanistan war, claiming the lives of nine soldiers and wounding twenty-seven. The families of one platoon have since gathered, united in grief, to seek answers about the circumstances of their sons' deaths.
