Synopsis

The memoir recounts a former NASA administrator’s experience with his nineteen-year-old son after their harrowing survival of a plane crash in Alaska during August 2010. Simultaneously, in Panama, the disappearance of two Americans unveils a hidden darkness beneath the jovial facade of a local bartender.
