Black Summoner (_Kuro no Shoukanshi_) presents itself as an isekai anime, featuring a central character who’s exceptionally powerful and starts anew after being revived by a goddess. Before he could fully embrace this new existence, some preliminary arrangements needed to be made. This initial setup resembled a video game mechanic, where a limited number of points were available to allocate towards attributes or specific abilities. To ensure his capabilities far exceeded the norm, the protagonist willingly sacrificed memories from his past life, allowing him to achieve maximum levels in his chosen profession. Interestingly, this memory loss hasn't proven particularly problematic thus far; the narrative doesn’t seem connected to anything about who he was before entering the fantasy realm. Once equipped with these skills, the goddess introduces him to his new world, where he must start at a disadvantage. It wasn't long before he attracted companions—primarily forming a harem—who would assist him in growing stronger and confronting increasingly formidable adversaries. The series isn’t offensively bad. The main character comes across as somewhat overconfident, and the female characters are portrayed as rather dependent, even though they display strength; the level of fan service is minimal, registering around a 1/10.
