Initially, when this show was originally broadcast on Channel 4, it earned descriptions like groundbreaking, challenging, gloomy, subtle, and truly fantastic. However, things shifted with Netflix’s involvement. Currently, terms that come to mind are uninspired, overly concerned with contemporary social issues, preachy, foreseeable, standardized, and mostly unbearable to view. As far as I'm concerned, the fifth season is irredeemable, and I won't be revisiting this franchise again. Correction: I briefly glanced at season 7, and it remains lifeless and generally awful. 1/10.
