Synopsis

Black Jack lives, spared by the pendant his mother, Mio, wore, which deflected the bullet meant for him. He then performs surgery on the doctor’s mother, uncovering a Type Hydra artificial heart within her. This remarkable organ continues to beat even after removal from the body. Black Jack replaces the Type Hydra with a new artificial heart of his own choosing, restoring the woman's life.
