This animated series for adults is genuinely humorous, reflecting what life might be like at a younger age if fantastical elements and creatures were present. The comedy itself earns a perfect score of 10/10; the writing and comedic timing are excellent. However, while I’d suggest this show to mature adults with a solid educational background and common sense, I believe it should be canceled for those lacking those qualities. The underlying social-liberal agenda is undeniably objectionable. The humor, nudity, and clever writing can't disguise the deliberate, subtle indoctrination that serves as a central theme in the series. It follows a familiar pattern seen in much of modern animation: _**"Since it is 'make-believe' or 'a cartoon' it's okay to express same sex relationships, gender identity views/politics, and the manipulation of gender norms through them. Just make with the comedy and everything else will be overlooked."**_ (no, It won’t). I don't know if these elements are required by network executives for approval or simply reflect the creator’s vision; but injecting culturally unusual issues into children’s entertainment is a form of social betrayal. * Males cannot become pregnant. * Males cannot breastfeed. * Teenagers do not always struggle with sexuality, especially in two-parent homes—or even younger kids. * Girls are not inherently stronger than boys. * Men can't be women. * There aren’t more than two genders. * "Toxic masculinity” doesn’t exist. * A gender pay gap is a myth. * Staying home with children isn’t a sign of weakness. * Experiencing divorced parents is difficult; the only upside is avoiding parental conflict. * PARENTS SHOULD BE PARENTS and prevent kids under 16 from watching this show! Big Mouth has brilliant potential, and the core concept is clever. But some aspects shouldn’t be accessible to everyone. Young minds aren't equipped to understand or find humor in these issues within a realistic context. Sadly, many parents born after 1984 seem to be failing at parenting. I was disappointed with the most recent season of Big Mouth. I didn't enjoy Maury's pregnancy, Jay & Matthew’s relationship, Jessi’s struggles with pronouns, Missy’s family dynamic (single mothers, gay daughters, and an asexual older woman), or her father’s feminist stance—even though those portrayals are accurate. I also found the previous season’s character Walter to be somewhat condescending in his depiction. While Black women often display strong personalities, that too felt patronizing, as many of these characters were American afrocentric. If you can overlook all of that, then this show is genuinely funny! Some people, whether young or adult, won't enjoy it, while others will have a great time. But if things go poorly, I strongly advise parents to restrict access to this show for children under 16. Enjoy your viewing experience! -- Bob --
