I’m truly relieved this show only ran for six episodes; I wouldn't have wanted any more of it. The performers would benefit from exploring a wider range of emotions than just typical teenage tropes—though the poor writing is largely responsible for those clichés. An attempt at mystery and intrigue simply results in predictable, tired storytelling. It’s best to avoid such projects altogether. Viewership numbers suggest that this series hasn't connected with audiences as it should have. A general absence of suspense prevents it from being truly engaging, a sentiment I share regarding the initial season. I can’t endorse watching it, and I sincerely hope Netflix doesn’t decide to bring it back.
