The series centers on women—a mother, her daughters, and granddaughters. It isn’t entirely believable, but feels more genuine than most shows I've encountered. What stood out was its emphasis on the gentler aspects of life. That doesn’t mean the story avoids problems or that the characters are flawless; it follows a single mother who works as an actress in minor roles, and her mother who lives nearby, exploring the experiences of these four women. It’s a straightforward narrative about females, addressing issues faced by women of all ages. The series is brief but enjoyable, not quite a comedy, though there are humorous moments that help it fit the genre. The characters are exceptionally well-developed and easily distinguishable from one another. While most of the story unfolds through the mother’s viewpoint, certain scenes shift focus to give other characters their due attention regarding the episode's themes. I appreciated all ten episodes and felt a longer season of at least thirteen would have been ideal. It wasn’t produced by a major studio or star actors that I recognize, but it remains worthwhile viewing for everyone, including men. It could benefit from some improvements, though it has received positive attention and could use greater viewership numbers. Although it originally aired almost a year ago, I only started watching recently and found myself enjoying it considerably. The second season arrives in about a month, and this time I plan to watch as it airs; I’m eagerly anticipating the coming weeks. I recommend giving it a try. 8/10
