Synopsis

As Governor Gatling’s time in office neared its end and Benson prepared his campaign for the governorship, Gatling discovered he was eligible to seek another term. He resolved to do so, setting the stage for a final, bitter contest—a clash of ambitions and resentments—between himself and Benson. (Part 1 of 2)
