Synopsis

Libby, the Governor’s sister, believed Katie would benefit from attending a boarding school, and he, yielding to her opinion, arranged for just that. Those who worked at the school were taken aback by the sudden arrival, clearly surprised by the Governor’s deference to his sister's suggestion.
