Synopsis

An eleven-year-old from the Soviet Union arrived at the grand estate to compete in a prestigious chess tournament. Though longing for home and fiercely desiring anonymity, he encountered Katie, who sheltered him within her room. Chaos erupted when his delegation discovered his absence and accused the American hosts of abduction. The Soviets then issued an ultimatum: war would follow unless the boy was returned.
