A sudden charter cancellation left the crew adrift for several days, time Captain Lee intended to fill with his own pursuits. His surprise fire drill, executed with little preparation, drew the brunt of the crew's discontent, with Aleks bearing the brunt of their frustration. One evening, a pleasant dinner on the beach offered a brief respite, but the excessive revelry of a few cast a shadow over the enjoyment, leaving Eddie and David deeply irritated.
