Synopsis

Anita Rani presents a concert featuring sitar virtuoso Anoushka Shankar in collaboration with conductor Robert Ames and the London Contemporary Orchestra. The performance will showcase a newly orchestrated rendition of her Chapters trilogy. Each of the three albums that comprise the trilogy draws inspiration from one of the countries that has shaped Shankar’s life, and together, the albums guide the listener through a sonic journey from afternoon to night and into the first light of dawn.
