Synopsis

The inaugural televised Prom from The Glasshouse in Gateshead presented two works of classical grandeur. David Fray performs Bach’s somber and dramatic Keyboard Concerto in D Minor, followed by a performance of Mendelssohn's stirring 'Lobgesang' Symphony, featuring approximately two hundred singers and soloists Hera Hyesang Park, Adele Charvet, and Benjamin Hulett. The Royal Northern Sinfonia is conducted by Dinis Sousa.
