Synopsis

An evening of thrills and suspense is promised in a celebration of Bernard Herrmann, Alfred Hitchcock's longtime collaborator, at the Royal Albert Hall. The program features iconic themes from *Vertigo*, *Psycho*, and *Taxi Driver*, alongside Erich Korngold’s rich cello concerto, performed by acclaimed American soloist Sterling Elliott. The BBC Concert Orchestra is conducted by the charismatic Edwin Outwater, with Edith Bowman as presenter.
