Synopsis

Tom Service has assembled a musical portrait within a special collection of new compositions featured at the 2025 Proms. The compilation includes seven fresh works, two of which are world premieres, alongside a vibrant trumpet concerto and evocative soundscapes reminiscent of film. Interviews with the composers – Errollyn Wallen, John Rutter, and Anna Clyne among them – illuminate the sources of their creative impulses.
