Nicholas Collon and the Aurora Orchestra have established their acclaimed performances from memory as a captivating highlight of the Proms. Following recent interpretations of symphonies by Beethoven, Brahms, Shostakovich, and Berlioz, they now undertake their most ambitious undertaking to date: a complete rendition of the vibrant 1945 suite from Stravinsky’s ballet, *The Firebird*. The work blends Russian fairy tales and folk melodies with Stravinsky's daring musical modernism, resulting in a u
