Synopsis

The Sinfonia of London makes its highly anticipated official concert debut with John Wilson, who revived the orchestra in 2018. Building on the success of their award-winning recording, this orchestral ensemble, a veritable "army of generals," presents Korngold's powerful, cinematic Symphony in F sharp. The concert offers a musical panorama of 19th- and 20th-century Vienna, featuring also the overture to *Die Fledermaus* and Ravel's dazzling *La valse*.
