Synopsis

Conductor Dalia Stasevska and the BBC Symphony Orchestra open a six-week season with Vaughan Williams’s exquisite Serenade to Music and Poulenc’s brilliant Organ Concerto. The BBC Singers and a distinguished array of soloists—soprano Elizabeth Llewellyn, tenor Allan Clayton, and organist Daniel Hyde—join them in a program celebrating music's capacity to offer solace and uplift the soul. Katie Derham hosts the performance from the Royal Albert Hall in London.
