Ryan Bancroft embarks on his first official engagement as principal conductor of BBC NOW at BBC Hoddinott Hall in Cardiff Bay, marking his debut at the Proms and the first Prom to be held in Wales. The concert program features Martinu’s playful Jazz Suite alongside John Adams’s Chamber Symphony, composed in 1992.
