Synopsis
Samira Ahmed and pianist Nicholas McCarthy offer a concert of contrasting moods: Mozart's delicate and refined Piano Concerto No. 23 is juxtaposed with Ravel's lavishly orchestrated ballet, *Daphnis et Chloé*, which was first commissioned by Sergei Diaghilev's Ballets Russes. The featured soloist is Argentinian pianist Ingrid Fliter, and the BBC Symphony Orchestra is led by Spanish conductor Josep Pons.
