Synopsis

From the Royal Albert Hall, Katie Derham welcomes the concluding event of the 2014 Proms. Violinist Janine Jansen and baritone Roderick Williams join the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Singers, and the BBC Symphony Chorus on stage, conducted by Sakari Oramo, who leads the Last Night of the Proms for the first time. Across the United Kingdom, Proms in the Park audiences in Glasgow, Swansea, Belfast, and London participate in singing beloved melodies from Walt Disney's timeless film *Mary Poppins
